About us

A Comprehensive Language Service

The primary goal of the department for Language Services is to create and make available language resources, tools and services to develop the Basque language. Our aim is to take our customers’ language needs as a whole into consideration, and provide a quality, comprehensive language service.

Ever since Elhuyar was set up, it has been involved in developing the Basque language for new social purposes. With our knowledge and experience assured in this field, we are committed to quality and to constantly keeping our sights on a clear aim: that Basque should become a language of communication in society.
